In the example above it shows the (1)a normal catagen hair that has a green center both in the bulb and the stem of the hair. Green means good in the center part of the hair
Photograph 2 shows what can happen as an effect of stress on the body. This hair is hampered by chemotherapy but stress appears in a similar way- shredding the bulb. Stress also causes the center of the bulb and shaft to turn another color. Stress destroys the outline of the medulla, cortex and cuticle. This breaks down the reproduction.
Our Microscopic Analysis is excellent at determining if stress is affecting the reproducing parts of your hair. Stress can affect your hair the same way that affects your other major organs such as your heart. the cells quit reproducing and the hair falls.
Physical traumas as well as mental traumas can cause hair loss and many times cause hair problems 3-6 months after the event occurred. Treating stress is an inside out approach but the results of getting hair completely back are very good.
Some of the products that we discuss for stress are essential fatty acids taken orally and applied to the hair in the form of a shampoo such as EMU SHAMPOO. Vitamins taken orally and in the form of a shampoo are often recommended such as Vitamin shampoo and Protein Amino Conditioner. B-100 vitamins are recommended and the amino acids l-lysine and taurine.
If you are fairly certain that stress is the cause of your hair problems then we suggest that you consider: Emu Shampoo and Vitamin Shampoo (rotate these every other day) and Protein Amino conditioner (2x per week). We would also suggest you consider a b-100 vitamin and vitamin C orally.
